The choice between good and evil starts with the decision whether we want to see the others face or not. We just saw the faces of those who had once been driven out. We saw and we heard how deep the wound is that we have inflicted on them. Sixty years have passed. We have to admit that the onus is heavy on those who, having excluded Hungarian Jewry barely two years earlier, once again applied the principle of collective guilt to our compatriots.
