In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and in accordance with the national and international safety measures the House of Terror Museum is once again asking visitors to obey the following general rules while visiting our museum from 2 November 2021 (Tuesday).
Please note that the House of Terror Museum will be closed on Sunday, 12 September 2021. It will be open to visitors again from Tuesday, 14 September 2021 within the usual opening time (from 10.00 to 18.00).
Our museum NO LONGER REQUIRES VISITORS TO PRESENT AN IMMUNITY CERTIFICATE or to wear a mask indoors. However, visitors are asked to continue to obey the basic rules of prevention (use of hand sanitizer and maintaining sufficient distance) while visiting our museum.
Dear Visitors, we are glad to announce that according to the corresponding Government Decree our museum is once again open from the 1st of May 2021 to visitors immune to COVID-19 and minors under their supervision.
Dear visitors! The Hungarian Government ordered a state of emergency on 10 November 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. With regard to the public health emergency and in order to prevent the further spread of the virus, the House of Terror Museum will be closed for an indefinite period of time.
On the occasion of the year of National Togetherness, film screenings will be held in the event hall on the third floor of the House of Terror Museum on 20th August from 10 am to 6 pm. The featured films will include documentaries made particularly for the centenary of the Treaty of Trianon and World War I.
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and in accordance with the national and international safety measures we are asking our visitors to obey the following general rules while visiting our museum.
Dear Visitors, due to the Covid-19 the Hungarian Government ordered a state of emergency on March 11. With regard to the public health emergency and in order to prevent the further spread of the virus, the House of Terror Museum will be closed for an indefinite period of time from 17 March 2020.
Dear Visitors, in order to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 coronavirus the House of Terror Museum will be closed on March 14th, 15th and 16th 2020.
Please note that the museum will be closed for the annual maintenance from January 20th to January 27th 2020.
